If you’re unable to make it to a job that you’ve claimed, you can remove it without any penalty up to 48 hours in advance. Within 48 hours, though, and you may be subject to a late cancellation fee. You can avoid the late cancellation fee if you go through the reschedule process outlined below.

In-App Requests to Reschedule
For certain jobs, you will have the ability to submit a reschedule request to your customer directly through the app. Depending on how far in advance your request is sent, the customer will have 12-24 hours to respond and either accept or reject the request. If the customer rejects the request, or the request expires, you will be unassigned from the job. Once you submit a request to reschedule through the app, you are not expected to show up at the originally-scheduled time unless you cancel your request. MySquard will let you know the result of your reschedule request by SMS/text message. If the request is rejected or expired, the job will be removed from your schedule and you will not incur a late cancellation fee.
Note that professionals cannot unilaterally reschedule a job on behalf of the customer through the app. You are able to remove yourself from a job. Furthermore, you should remove yourself as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it, in order to avoid a late cancellation fee.
