Starting your journey as a MySquard Pro? We know that first-day jitters are natural, but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Here’s everything you need to know before, during, and after your first booking.

1️⃣ Effective Communication

Before your booking starts, you’ll receive the customer’s address through the MySquard Services for Pros app. You can contact them via call, text, or chat to:

  • ✅ Confirm details and clarify instructions.
  • ✅ Discuss any modifications or special requests.
  • ✅ Ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience.

2️⃣ Come Prepared

Having the right tools and materials is essential for a successful job. Here’s what you should bring:

🔹 Tools:

  • ✔ Basic toolkit (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches)
  • ✔ Hammer, tape measure, utility knife, level
  • ✔ Cordless drill & bits, an adjustable wrench, Allen wrench set
  • ✔ Hacksaw, chisels, wire stripper, stud finder

🔹 Materials:

  • ✔ Nails, screws, and anchors assortment
  • ✔ Duct tape, electrical tape, and masking tape
  • ✔ Sandpaper, fasteners (nuts, bolts, washers)
  • ✔ Wood glue, epoxy adhesive, caulking gun & caulk
  • ✔ Lubricants (WD-40, oil), paint brushes & rollers

🔹 Safety Gear:

  • ✔ Safety goggles, work gloves, dust mask
  • ✔ Ear protection (earplugs or earmuffs)
  • ✔ Knee pads

  • ✔ Discuss the estimated time required for the job.
  • ✔ If more time is needed, suggest they extend the booking or negotiate directly.

4️⃣ Wrapping Up Day One

  • 🔹 Final Check: Before leaving, review your work and confirm all tasks are complete.
  • 🔹 Key Return: If the customer left instructions for returning a key, follow them carefully.
  • 🔹 Checkout & Ratings: Once you check out, the customer can rate your service. Payments (including tips) will be processed by MySquard.
