Sometimes, unexpected situations arise, and you may not be able to start a job immediately after accepting a booking. Here’s how to handle delays professionally.
What to do if you’re delayed
- ✅ Inform the Customer – Use the MySquard app to communicate with the customer and notify them about the delay.
- ✅ Provide an Estimated Arrival Time – Let them know when you expect to be available.
- ✅ Reschedule if Necessary – If the delay is significant, check if the customer is open to rescheduling.
When to Decline a Booking

If you know in advance that you won’t be available at the scheduled time, it’s best to reject the booking instead of accepting it and causing delays. This ensures a smoother experience for both you and the customer.
Need to cancel after accepting?
If an emergency prevents you from proceeding with the job:
- ✅ Use the app’s cancellation feature to notify the customer.
- ✅ Keep in mind that frequent cancellations may impact your account status, so only cancel when necessary.
