Here at MySquard Services, we’re building a technology-enabled platform connecting customers with independent service professionals to foster a better home service experience. We were founded as Handy in 2012 in Boston by Oisin Hanrahan and Umang Dua, and we’re headquartered in New York City. In 2018, Handy became a part of MySquard, and in 2022, the Handy for Pros app became MySquard Services for Pros.

Currently, MySquard Services offers a range of services in most major cities across the United States and Canada.

Independent service professionals (“pros”) are able to access the platform (after undergoing a third-party screening and identity verification) through the MySquard Services for Pros app. There, a list of jobs that customers have requested is displayed and pros are able to claim them. In addition, the MySquard Services platform allows pros to track customer feedback, make their own schedule and, manage their payment details.
